Will the Badgers be Dancing in March?

If Bo Ryan and the Badgers want to continue their streak of 10 straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament in March, their going to have to start racking up some W's, and fast! The Badgers (13- 9) and fresh off their win over No. 23 Illinois on Thursday, snapped an unheard of 6-game losing streak by beating the Illini at home. Their gonna have to feed off this win and make a stretch run in their remaining 8 Big Ten games. The Badgers remaining schedule includes home games against Iowa, Ohio St., Michigan and Indiana and also some tough away games at Penn St, Indiana, Michigan St., and Minnesota. In my opionion the badgers are going to have to win at least 6 of the remaining 8 games with a win at either Michigan St. or Minnesota.....AND win a couple games at the Big Ten Tourney. Or they could just win the Conference Tournament and recieve an automatc bid, which they won last year. But in a more competitive Conference this year this task may be difficult. If the badgers are gonna make this run, they'll have to use what helped them beat the Illini. The Badgers are going to have to continue shooting the ball well and improve on their Defense if they want to continue their NCAA Tourney streak at the Big Dance, or else they'll be dancing at the 8th grade party in the NIT.

  1. I can see the Badgers making the tourny this year. They're gunna need to win those close games and make a run in the Big Ten Tourny. If there is anyone in basketball who can turn a struggling team around it's Bo Ryan, who is far superior than the Fighting Irish's Mike Brey. I can't see them going very far in the NCAA tourny, however, due to a lack of talent and a decent big man.

  3. I don't know many people who actually like the Irish. My roommate claims to be a huge fan, but he also has goes to Madison, has season tickets to Badger games, and yet also claims to be a huge Marquette fan. I guess he's just a huge fan of whatever team is doing better when you ask him.

  4. Big road win today at Penn State. Getting a decent halftime lead and being able to keep that lead on the road shows me that they will be sticking around and making the tourney come March. Great game all around for the badgers, especially Hughes, whose lock down defense stopped the conferences leading scorer.

  7. I sure hope Bucky makes the tourney. They are finally starting to play well. Got two big home games coming up. According to ESPNs mock bracket we are one of the last four out. Im feeling Bo and the badgers have a little run up their sleeve!
